Dogri Sundh is a famous sweet dish of jammu often taken with milk and specially prepared in families after the birth of child and given to mothers post delivery. its a very nutritive and healthy sweet dish, it gives energy and helps in healing. it is prepared by mixing dry ginger powder, dry fruits, ghee and sugar.

RECIPE:
Sundh is prepared by mixing dry ginger powder with dry fruits fried in ghee and by adding sugar.
INGREDIENTS:
1. Almonds 1 Cup
2. Cashews 1 Cup
3. Raisins 1 Cup
4. Dry Dates 1 Cup
5. Coconut 1 Cup
6. Melon seeds 1 Cup
7. Tragacanth Gum / Gond Katira 2 Tsp
8. Desi Ghee 1 Cup
9. Sugar Powder 1 Cup
10. Grated Coconut 1/2 Cup
11. Dry ginger powder 2 Tsp
STEPS:
1. Heat desi ghee in a pan.
2. Fry almonds, cashew, raisins, dry dates and coconut one by one and take out in a bowl.
3. Fry Tragacanth Gum / Gond Katira and similarly take out in the same bowl.
4. Now add dry ginger powder meklon seeds and roast them in the remaining desi ghee for 1-2 minutes.
5. Again take it out in the same bowl.
6. Now mix all the ingredients of bowl properly, and let it cool for at least 1 hour.
7. After cooling add sugar powder and grated coconut. and again mix it properly.
