Telvur/Baked salty Donut

Telvur/ Kashmiri Baked Salty Donut are prepared in a tandoor. These salty donuts are very simple to prepare. they are soft from inside and crisp from outside. At top these have a sesame seed coating.

Recipe:

Telvur is prepare in three steps:
1. preparing the dough
2. preparing the donut
3.baking the donut

INGREDIENTS:

1. Refined wheat flour                         250g
2. Curd                                                 4tsp
3. Salt                                                   1/4 tsp
4. Sugar                                                1/4 tsp
5. Baking soda                                      1/4 tsp
6. milk                                                  for coating
7. ghee                                                  1tsp
8.Sesame seeds                                     for coating

STEPS:

1.Add 4tsp curd,1/4tsp salt,1/4 tsp sugar to flour and mix it.
2. Add water to make a soft dough and leave it for atleast 1 hour.
3. After 1 hour.take a small ball of dough and give  it a round shape, pierce it from centre to make the donut.
4. Add the donut to boiling water and cook both sides for about 1 min.
5.Place the donut on a baking tray, coat with sesame seeds and brush with milk.
6. Bake for 5-7 min in an electric tandoor
