Baked Roth is a very ancient kashmiri bread, prepared on an earthen griddle. The bread prepared by mixing sugar, coconut and ghee tastes flavourful.
INGREDIENTS:
1. Wheat flour 3 cups
2. Milk 1 cup
3. Sugar Powder 1 cup
4. Desi ghee 1 cup
5. Milk Powder 5 tbsp
6. Grated Coconut 5tbsp
7. Green cardamom powder made from 4-5 cardamoms
8. thick cardamom seeds from 2 cardamoms
9.Poppy seeds 1tsp
10 Dry fruits as required
RECIPE STEPS:
1. Mix milk,sugar powder, desi ghee, milk powder, grated coconut, green cardamom powder, thick cardamom seeds to wheat flour and knead with hand to prepared a dough. (Add milk if required)
2. Grease the baking tray with ghee
3. Spread the dough on the baking tray and garnish with dry fruits and spread poppy seeds over it then Press the dough properly so that dry fruits and poppy seeds sets over it.
4. Give it a milk wash from the top
5. Pierce in between using a toothpick.
6. Bake at 160 degree for 60 min.
