Pumpkin flower is edible part of the plant. These vibrant coloured flowers are used to prepare very crunchy and tasty fritters
INGREDIENTS
1. Pumpkin flower 2-3 no
2. rice flour 3 tsp
3. salt as per taste
4.onion 1/2 no
5.green chillies chopped 1/4tsp
6. turmeric powder 1/4tsp
7 cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
8 Red chilly flakes 1/4 tsp
RECIPE:
1. wash and clean the pumpkin flower and then cut the stem part
2 Prepare a batter by mixing rice flour, salt, onion, green chilly, turmeric powder and cumin seeds
3. Pour the batter over the flower and coat it from both sides. Sprinkle some chilly flakes
4 Fry the flower in medium hot oil till it becomes crisp
