Gulab Jamun is an Indian sweet dish prepared from milk. the Gulab Jamun is so soft and tasty that it creates a sensation over tongue and melts in mouth. the soft Gulab Jamun dipped in sugar syrup tastes devouring.

Recipe:

Preparing Gulab Jamun requires three steps:

1. Preparing and frying the Gulab Jamun's.
2. Preparing the sugar syrup.
3. Combining both.

INGREDIENTS:

1. Full Cream milk                                           1/2 Litre
2. All purpose flour (Maida)                            3 Tsp.
3. Baking soda                                                 1 pinch
4. Baking powder                                            1 pinch
5. Oil                                                               For frying
6. Sugar                                                           2 cups
7. Cardamom                                                  2-3 No.

STEPS:

1. Boil 1/2 litre milk for 15-20 mins. or till it becomes semi solid.
2. Add 3 tsp. all purpose flour to semi solid milk when it cools. also add 1 pinch baking soda and 1          pinch baking powder to it.
3. Mix with hands to make a soft dough.
4. Prepare small balls from the dough, and deep fry them by stirring continuously, till they get the            brown colour.
5. Prepare sugar syrup by boiling 2 cups of sugar, 2 cups of water and  2-3 crushed cardamom for 5        mins.
6. Add fried Gulab Jamun to the sugar syrup and let them soak for at least 2-3 hours.

Gulab Jamun is ready to serve.
